Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 August 2026
These terms govern your use of That's My Bike. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
1. The service
That's My Bike is a property registry and recovery-assistance platform. It lets you record valuables, report theft, generate evidence of ownership, and receive alerts about potential marketplace matches. The service assists recovery — it does not guarantee it.
2. Membership and fees
- Membership is £19 per year and covers the first 5 registered items.
- Each additional item beyond 5 costs £3 per item per year.
- Renewals extend each included item's protection by one year from the renewal date.
- Refund policy: We refund membership and per-item fees that you paid within the current membership year — the 12 months up to the date of your refund request. Fees paid for any earlier membership year are not refundable. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, typically within 10 business days.
- To request a refund, email us at the address in the Contact section below with your account email and the transaction reference.
- We may change our fees with at least 30 days' notice; existing memberships continue at the paid rate until renewal.
3. Your responsibilities
- You may only register items that you own or are authorised to register. Registering another person's property or stolen/illegal goods is prohibited.
- Information you provide must be accurate. Evidence reports rely on the truthfulness of the details you enter.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and any forensic kit codes secure.
4. Safety
If you believe your stolen item has been located through a match alert, do not approach the seller or attempt to recover it yourself. Reclaiming the item by force, stealth, or by entering another person's property can itself be a criminal offence — such as burglary, assault, or theft — even though you are the rightful owner. Report the sighting via the platform or to the police with the evidence we provide, and let the authorities recover it. That's My Bike is not responsible for actions taken by users in pursuit of recoveries.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not use the service to harass, defraud, or make false accusations against any person.
- Do not attempt to access other users' data, reverse-engineer the platform, or overload it.
- Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have rights to.
6. No warranty
The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that a stolen item will be recovered, that marketplace scans will detect every listing, or that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. Match alerts are generated using automated analysis and may be incomplete or inaccurate; always verify before acting.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of the property itself.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. You may close your account at any time. On termination, your right to use the service ends, but these terms continue to apply to your past use.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that point constitutes acceptance.
10. Contact
That's My Bike Ltd is the provider of this platform. For questions about these terms, account issues, or to report misuse, email thatsminecustomerservice@gmail.com or write to us at [registered office address]. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of these terms.
